Chromebook Agreement

The Chromebook Agreement is an annual form that must be signed by a parent or guardian of a student before the student can receive their Chromebook. They must also sign the agreement before they are allowed to use any Chromebook in the district, not only their own. By signing the agreement, you state that you have read and understood the annually updated Chromebook Procedures and the Student Acceptable Use of Technology Policy, both of which are detailed below.

The agreement can be signed either online or in-person.

Signing the Agreement Online

To sign your child’s Chromebook Agreement online, click the button below.

Simply put in your student’s ID number, read through the agreement, and digitally sign at the bottom.

Your student’s ID number is the entire number before the “@” symbol in your student’s email address. So, for example, if a student’s email is [email protected] then you would type in 123456789 to find that student’s agreement.

If you digitally sign your child’s Chromebook Agreement, you do not have to bring in a physical form during rollout.

Signing the Agreement In Person

Physical copies can be printed, signed, and brought to the Chromebook rollout as well. You can also request and sign a physical copy at the rollout. We recommend signing ahead of time to get through the line quickly, and to have enough time to read the agreement and the related documentation, such as the Student Acceptable Use of Technology Policy. To download and/or print the Chromebook Agreement, use the button below.

Chromebook Procedures

The Chromebook Procedures are an annually-updated document describing the intended use case of the Chromebook itself. The agreement is a signed document stating that you have read through and understood these procedures.

By signing the Chromebook Agreement, you agree to the terms and conditions, and you agree that you have also accessed and read the Chromebook Procedures. A physical copy of this policy will be available to view and read at the school’s annual Chromebook rollout.
